So it's been a while since we've blogged n shit but that's only cause things have been so crazy (and cause we're lazy with this site). I guess ya'll know we changed our name to RAPID YOUTH...thoughts?? questions?? concerns??
Also we are done recording our two 7" recordzzzz that should both come out by early 09! (get pumped!!) It's a bummer that they won't be done by tour, but that's life. We'll have plenty of stuff to slang on tour so its all good. Speaking of which... we're touring the FULL west coast this winter with no paws (no lions) and are getting PUMPED. We don't have the official schedule finished, but keep checking if your in another hood and want to chilll hard with us in yr citay.

NEWS/REVOOS
hey buddy and the pals walk of life has lead us through arizona for two shows and riverside just this weekend.
the show at ann marie's house in tempe, az was brutal because of sound problems, but the trunkspace one in phoenix sounded really good, and we hung out with a lot of real cool people, especially my feral kin, who are probally the best band ever. much thanks and love to fran and tristan who lended kevin and us their house for the weekend! p.s. kevin rocked both venues sox off.
and last friday we played in riverside at the pharoah's den with american gil & the major dudes and flaspar (who didn't show up :[). american gil's set was so bad ass. we played a pretty sweet set of a bunch of new ones, rogers was playing air bass for us, and it was going good till the P.A. started smoking haha, another sound problem in the long line of sound problems for us. then flaspar didn't show up and the pharoah's den turned into a club, never seen so many nikes in my life dawg!
but news...
we have two tenative 7"s coming out this summer (hopefully!). one is being put out by james's label "how much art can you take?" and will feature tenative jams and one is being put out on peter's label "lost space records" also featuring some tenative jams. so watch out for those dawg! also we still have a bunch of our 3" split with no paws (no lions) and you can get those at shows or kevin's label "bridgetown records" which sounds like a hardcore label that would put out some hatebreed shit and it is.
also we got a bunch of really cool shows lined up for the upcoming months...
06/13: ports o' calls bedroom w/ lucky dragons, splinter cake in west covina, CA. ya'll probally know the deal on lucky dragons by now, but splinter cake is seriously so good, can't wait to play with both these fools!
06/20: paul's friendship show in oceanside, CA. this is going to be a show/art exhibit so it's gonna be mad sick.
06/25: the smell w/ abe vigoda, small breed, seahouse, and shed in LA, CA. seahouse and shed are coming down from issaquah, WA. hell yes all these bands rule especially small breed which is currently all our favorite band.
06/29: the kava lounge w/ griefshare in san diego, CA. also going to be a show/art exhibit. we went to this month's and it was super awesome and positive! i think brittany and i will have a joint art exhibit at this also, so double come out to this jazz!
07/07: the pharoah's den w/ meth teeth, mutators & christmas island in riverside, CA. have you guys heard any of these bands, if not you need to, they're all so damn GOOD! meth teeth is coming down from oregon/seattle, mutators from vancouver bc, canada, and christmas island is coming up from the big SD.
07/13: fairmont park w/ no paws (no lions), my feral kin, and dirt dress in riverside, CA. this one is gonna be so sick! no paws our like our cousins that we have secret crushes on, my feral kin are comin in from arizona and are seriously going to blow your mind at how good they are, not playin, and last time we played with dirt dress i missed them and was so bummed, but i heard so many good things so i'm way stoked to play with them again.
